8vo

I found out about 8vo whilst i was in the library. I was looking through the graphic design books when their little book stood out, On The Outside. The only reason I picked up the book was die to its size attracted me, as it is only a small book. I looked inside and i was immediately amazed. I didn't realise some of the hacienda posters was created by them. 

8vo were a British graphic design company set up in 1984 by Mark Holt, Simon Johnston and Hamish Muir. They produced some very famous typographic journals called Octavo. I was reallu inspired with their work, and with t he use of layers. I found inspiration with their use of colours and layout.
