Tibor Kalman

Tibor Kalman is one of my favourite designer of all time. I discovered Kalman at Tameside College, when talking to my tutor at the time Ivan Seymour, I discovered his work. The fist piece of his work i say is 'What if?', were Kalman changed the colour of people skin tones. Kalman change people such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Queen Elizabeth. 

As I looked more into Tibor Kalmans book and discovered more and more of his work it really became apparent he wanted to provoke trouble, asking questions and pushing boundaries of design. I was really keen on one of his poster he Did for United Colors of Benetton,about AIDS. I can't say how much I look at Kalman's work for inspiration. All his work from the clocks he designed, watches and his sky umbrella. His work captures my mind.
