Giles Revell

I first started following Giles Revell when i noticed his work on the front cover of Creative review. It was his images sponsored by NESTA producing work whilst getting inspiration from The Natural History Museum. He produced a series of 12 posters using insects. An exhibition called 'Insects Techtronics' debuted at The Natural History Museum.

Giles Revell also did another exhibition called 'Photofit'.  Matt Willey of Studio8 and Giles Revell gave each person a Police Photofit Kit from the 1970's, which the created there own self portraits of themselves. 

I feel that Giles Revell is influenced by Fine Art and Conceptualism. Giles explores the idea of Graphic based ideas and imagery and the different ways photography can imply form. Gile's work continues to explore and push the boundaries of digital technologies. Giles has won numerous awards for his work, and his work is featured at The Micheal Hoppen Gallery in London.
